The venue is anchored by the Torre Saracena di Monte Saracino — a perfectly preserved 16th-century watchtower built in the aftermath of the 1480 Otranto massacre — whose truncated-cone silhouette, rising ten metres above the ancient rock, gazes eastward across an infinite blue horizon.

In 2003, Maria Cristina Urso — a native of Puglia with an unshakeable love for Salento — transformed a breathtaking stretch of Adriatic coastline into a sanctuary for love and celebration. Her vision was simple yet profound: a place where couples from around the world could experience the genuine warmth of southern Italian hospitality alongside the splendour of one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful settings.
Today, her son Francesco Urso serves as Director, carrying forward a family legacy built on passion, authenticity and an uncompromising dedication to excellence.
